To do this requires a forge or a foundry. A foundry provides the means to melt metal so it can be formed into predefined shapes using a mold. The rotary fan can be operating using a bow, similar to a bow drill, to generate high rpms needed to force air into the fire.

Timeouts don't work anymore... He uses the potty to get out because he doesn't understand why he's in there and just wants out.

He has sensory processing disorder, autism and is semi verbal, so even timeouts are hard on him.. He gets overloaded.
